Our History
How Financial Affiliates got started:
Financial Affiliates was organized in 1986 when the insurance industry was enduring an underwriting crisis. Rates were increasing, coverage was difficult to place and companies were reluctant to appoint new producers. Our founders vision of working with Credit Unions and financial institutions who wanted to offer multiple financial services to proved to be a great marketing strategy. Credit Union members look to their institutions for financial services and insurance products. The concept has expanded into the banking arena as banks recognized the value of marketing to their customers. Financial Affiliates has been serving Texas financial institutions since 1986 and continue to do so as well a serving the needs of all residents and businesses of Texas.
